Cover of The Courier
The objective for this assignment was to create a cover and editorial spread based on typography. I read two articles, Sarah Dawood's interview "Sarah Hyndman: 'Punk was the anti-Helvetica'" and Maya Lekach's "All ripped up: Punk influences on graphic design" that encouraged me to go with a punk-themed issue. Using sections of their articles, I was able to create an editorial spread. The photographs are famous graphic designers displayed in an edgy and punk inspired fashion.
